Hi all:
Just a short note to say, we will get this so called “Cool School” off the ground, with some really Cool postings during the month of December. We simply don’t have the resources to forge ahead with this offering until after the upcoming mid-term elections.
We will take a short respite, depending on the outcome of said elections and then prepare the first writings for your consumption.
This blog will be geared to giving you a clear concept of “Cool”, from our perspective and how understanding it could and hopefully will bring significant and positive changes in your life and the lives of those you cross paths with.
So, hang in there, as we promise to open these gates to the most important post high school, college or masters program learning experience you are ever going to get for free.
Before we go any further, I will state quite honestly many of the concepts and methods we will use to explain the meaning of Cool and how you can obtain the reputation of being a “Cool Person” by those of any import in your life, may seem at first blush, common sense, cliché, been there done that, simple mother wit, or basic rules of life you’ve heard over the years from those that cared, but failed to follow consistently enough themselves to set a proper foundation for your character. Thus, you are who you are.
Yes, you guessed it, this is a self help blog with regular reminders and guidelines that should begin to trigger behaviors and modes of living that will let others see fundamental changes in your character and standards of ethics. And quite frankly, character and ethics are what Cool is all about. But more on that when we actually define Cool in our first formal posting
(BTW) The reading list is extensive! While you’re waiting for classes to commence, here are a few recommendations to get you in the proper mind set.
Please, do not run out and buy all of these titles, as they are merely tools to get you thinking again. Thinking clearly is the first step to being Cool, especially when you are doing it unassisted.
